We’re closing in on the 2019 Edition of our Excellent Adventure. This is the final end-to-end test – using the WorkPress app from my iPad.

First a reminder of where we’re going:

Two places I am most looking forward to seeing are the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, and the Alhambra outside of Granada. Our last visit to the Sagrada Familia was just a few years ago. My last visit to the Alhambra was in 1978.

So far the test has been successful – I was able to easily add a photo from the iPad Photos app. That was a serious problem with Blogspot from the last two years.

The blog background is still kinda bare bones. I’m thinking it will stay that way, at least for now. The words and photos are what will be important.

The next step is to see how easy it is to publish and share to Facebook.

Assuming I do those two things, please do let me know if you see the embedded image. That was the other problem with photos on Blogspot. Even once I managed to add a photo, not everybody was able to see it.

Hi all! After 10 years of dealing with blogspot, I’ve decided to try a different platform for my travel blog. WordPress has an iOS app, which will allow me to blog from my iPad while on one of our Excellent Adventures. I’m still trying to figure out how to do this, but it seems pretty easy. Stay tuned!
